The Tale of Silyan End Titles

For the titles of Tale of Silyan, a documentary about farmers in North Macedonia, we drew inspiration from the region’s landscape and the folklore of the stork the film is named after.

Fully illustrated and animated in the style of botanical drawings, the sequence references real Macedonian plants. It begins underground in muted browns before bursting upward into stems, leaves and blooming flowers.

The shift from earth to colour mirrors the film’s themes of land, growth and the rhythms of nature.
